About me

Hi, I'm Shreyash Niranjan Vaggu and I believe good decisions are built on insight, not instinct.

Finance taught me how markets move. Law is teaching me why they're allowed to. Somewhere between the two, I found what actually drives me: strategic thinking, bold calls, and the kind of innovation that doesn't just chase trends but builds something that lasts. I've never been someone who's satisfied with the surface of a subject; I want to know the reasoning underneath the rule and the incentive underneath the number.

I live in that in-between space reading contracts like balance sheets and balance sheets like contracts. Economics and securities are what I nerd out on the most, but my curiosity doesn't stay in one lane. I write about startups and innovation, personal finance and taxation, budgets and boardroom deals, mergers and IPOs, contracts and agreements, and the geopolitics quietly shaping all of it. Each of these, to me, is really the same question asked in a different language: how do people, money, and power actually move, and who gets to write the rules for it?

This site is where I think out loud. No filters, no fluff, just the questions that connect markets, law, and the world around them, in pursuit of a future that's not just profitable but sustainable. It's part portfolio, part notebook, and part running experiment in turning curiosity into discipline, one piece of writing at a time.

Read. Research. Write. Repeat.
